There are telecards of 10, 20, 30 and 60 units. One telecard of 30 units costs about R$ 3,00 (1 US$). Of course this is an approximate price, as they change. The telecards are sold at newsstands or by ambulant vendors in the streets near a public telephone. To avoid any kind of problems, buy your telecards at a newsstand. NB: If the person agrees, you can call her "a cobrar" (collect call, that is, the person pays the call).
